Will their ever be an established answer concerning how the false messiah Jesus died?

In Acts 10:39 the writer of this book states that Jesus was hanged on a tree and killed by the Jews.

In Acts 10:39 it states :

';And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:'; (Acts 10';39)

That being in consideration if one reads Matthew 27:21-27 it states that Pontius Pilate killed Jesus and that it was the Romans' fault.

The CROSS scene being the most accepted ;

two basic contradictions; In Acts 10:39

1. It states the Jews killed Jesus opposed to Matthew's claim about the Romans killing Jesus.

2. It states that Jesus was hanged on a tree opposed to Matthew's claim that he was crucified by Pontius.

Show which one was it?Will their ever be an established answer concerning how the false messiah Jesus died?
The Jews had Christ crucified by Pilot on a wooden cross. (Wood comes from trees)Will their ever be an established answer concerning how the false messiah Jesus died?
The Romans did the actual dirty work of hanging Christ on the tree, but it was at the insistence of the Jewish leaders, whose position in the political scheme of things was threatened by Jesus. By the way, the tree, or torture stake that Jesus was hanged on is not referred to as a cross in the Bible. Mainstream Christendom came up with that one all on their own.
We all are responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus not just the Jews and Romans. A cross was made from wood that comes from a tree. Thus the reference to being hung on a tree. Pontius Pilate washed his hands and said I find no fault, but the Jews demanded that Jesus be crucified so Pontius not wanting a riot ordered his men to crucify Jesus and the Jews accepted responsibility. Satisfied now?
No, they don't contradict each other. Each of the accounts make it clear that though the Jews were the ones who wanted Jesus crucified, it was the Romans who actually made it happen. That means both were at fault.

And ';hanged on a tree'; is actually another way of saying ';crucified.';

The answer's right there in plain sight.
@';In Acts 10:39

1. It states the Jews killed Jesus opposed to Matthew's claim about the Romans killing Jesus.

2. It states that Jesus was hanged on a tree opposed to Matthew's claim that he was crucified by Pontius.';

You are missing the point:

His death is more important than the exact way He died.It was on a cross...arms extended or over His head.

His death [THAT HAPPENED] saved our {believers} lives, from the wrath of His Father in Heaven.

No one else can CLAIM THIS!
has it never occured to you that the cross and tree are the same thing?

Sides Jesus laid down His life....no one took it from Him John 10:17-18

And if you are gonna throw the baby out with the bath water....that's pretty pathetic man.
...I'm not sure what ';translation'; of Scripture you are referring to... Consider getting a copy of the Hebrew Text and the Greek Lexicon for a better understand... (your understanding is seriously flawed).
what would a cross be made out of ?? Was it steel ?? Maybe concrete ?? Ohhhhhh, I know, it was FAKE wood !!! geesh..... and He was NOT the fake Messiah.... But, it will be told and shown to all some day...... go in peace..... God bless
Why to do you hate religion? Why can't you just say, I don't believe in god, and leave it at that.

Why not just leave us alone?

Why you got to shove your ideology down our throats?
Jesus was crucified by his hanging on a tree. Pontius had the opportunity to stop the crucification, but he didn't.
Its a mute point. The fact is that Jesus was crucified in payment for our sins.

Since the Romans had crucufied several thousand people I would imagine they had a pretty proficient way of crucifying people.
ya know all I could see in your question, was where you stated ';false';, so what actually is your point here? God Bless and have mercy
Gee, how totally unbiased. Are you asking or telling?
Go read the Scriptures again and get your story straight.

Hung on a tree = wooden cross.
They made the cross from trees and hung Him from it. They didn't have electric saws and lathes 2,000 years ago...

Peace,

Start over from the beginning and read slower. It may help with your comprehension.
Put down the gun. Have you not noticed that your water bullet cannot kill us believers.
For nowadays it will not be possible, because the gospels are very much confused, very much contradictory.

In the future when logic and reason will be more developed and with the help of the computers,

scholars will find a definite truth and they will all agree.

I think the truth will be towards :

Mainly the Romans punished him to penalty death for their reasons. Not because Romans were pressed by Jews to do that.

Some of these reasons were same by coinsidence with those of some Jews.

@ Cody the conservative : Your objection to the asker is invalide. If you love religion, spontaniously you hate atheism.

So, why you hate atheism ? Why don't you lieve atheists alone to criticise religion ?

Besides don't you think the academic wars have their place in internet ? If you don't like critics on your religion, just don't read these critics. Lieve other people to do ! No problem. You want to make problem because the critics are damaging the lies, not the truth.
actually the bible says the chief priests killed jesus and conspired together.

but they insisted the romans take the blame to keep themselves unspotted.

in the end he was accused for blasphemy, not as the romans thought it was for treason. so the conspiracy led jesus to pilate. who saw that nothing was wrong legally. the fact is there were by far many jews that thought he was teh saviour in fact the entire world knew of jesus as the coming king otherwise the three wise men would not have shown up at his birth with gifts.

the bible is indeed very limiting in knowledge and truth, and christian fathers and leaders have altered much of the text to be what it was not.

as for individual testimony no one ever gets it correct and often ones own perspective will lead to a different assumption. i dont think anyone innocent of a less than perfect testimony.

jesus did die by crucifixion, there is no doubt about that. the romans kept better records than the jews, whether jesus died on a tree or with a bar strapped to his arms is debateable.

the experience with pilate was a deception, among all the leaders, pilate was later called a saint by the byzantines and in teh catholic church he was declared innocent. so at least these things agree.
