Are the Mandaeans correct that Jesus was a 'false messiah' who perverted the teachings of John the Baptist?

Mandaeans recognize several prophets, among whom Iahia or Iuhana ';John the Baptist'; is accorded a special status, higher than his role in Christianity and Islam. In contrast to common belief, Mandaeans do not consider John to be the founder of their religion but merely revere him as one of their greatest teachers, tracing their beliefs back to Adam.

Mandaeans maintain that Jesus was a m拧iha kdaba ';false messiah'; who perverted the teachings entrusted to him by John.

No!Are the Mandaeans correct that Jesus was a 'false messiah' who perverted the teachings of John the Baptist?
So, how did Jesus raise Lazareth from the dead, turn one fish and a loaf of bread into enough to feed hundreds of people, make the bind see, walk on water and then resurrect himself from being dead? I don't think John the Baptist did any of that stuff.

I think John the Baptist was one of the 5 Perfect Masters who are people who are conscious of being God and also conscious of creation. When things get tough here on Earth periodically, they bring down the Messiah to help. They put a 5 layered veil over his mind that is removed one layer at a time by the Perfect Masters, and John the Baptist was the Perfect Master that removed the last layer that gave Jesus the knowledge that he was God's Messiah. That occurred when John baptized Jesus, and John said to the effect that he, himself, was no longer the one to follow but Jesus was.
No. Paul was the corrupter and inventor of a religion based mostly on lies.
We know what Mandeans are, wise ***.

I say they are not correct, you say they are. You-are-Boring.
