Christians - isn't the false messiah / antichrist supposed to turn the Jews away from their laws?

Isn't that exactly what Jesus did? Don't you teach that the ';old'; covenant is not applicable anymore? Do you ever wonder if Jesus was not the messiah?Christians - isn't the false messiah / antichrist supposed to turn the Jews away from their laws?
Well, I've asked this 3 times and been called a mean meanie, so good luck getting an answer. You are right on point though.Christians - isn't the false messiah / antichrist supposed to turn the Jews away from their laws?
Jesus was the messiah. Moses was wrong.
No.
On the contrary, as part of a peace deal the Antichrist brokers in the middle east, the Jews will believe that he is enabling them to return to temple worship in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in accordance with all that is prescribed in the OT, but after 3 1/2 years, he will enter the temple (into the Holy of Holies.... the place reserved for the temple priest who has been purified to enter before the presence of God) and will proclaim that he (the Antichrist) is god, and demand to be worshipped.

Then, the Lord God in heaven will open the eyes of the Jews, and they will see the Antichrist for who he is: the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet. There begins the worst of the worst part of the seven years (from that event, there's still 3 1/2 years left to go) of the Great Tribulation.

Jesus, on the other hand, came to FULFILL the law. Jesus said not one jot ot tittle of the law would pass away. The law is perfect, and when we stand before the Father, we will be expected to have fulfilled the law perfectly.

But since we can't, (and God knows this) we have to take the NEW covenant. Jesus the fulfillment of the law) stands in our place. He has already borne the penalty for our inability to live sinlessly, and so, if we place all our faith in Him, He has promised to write our names in the Lamb's Book of Life, thereby ensuring our place in heaven with Him and the Father for all eternity.

EDIT: We do not say the old covenant is ';not applicable;'; we say it is ';fulfilled.'; But don't confuse the ';covenant'; (i.e., the contract) with the law (i.e., God's commandments.) God's commandments stand firm. Mankind (the OT Jews specifically) is unable to live up to his end of a covenant that says ';if we keep His commandments, He will be Our God and we will be His people. We broke the covenant, but God does not ';rescind'; the commandments: instead, His new covenant says, ';I will indwell (by the power of the Holy Spirit) all who believe in me and free them from the POWER of sin.

Deep theological question, to be sure, but, again, please be clear about the proper scriptural use of words like ';covenant,'; ';commandment,'; ';sin;'; ';forgiveness;'; ';redemption,'; etc.
the only meaning of the old covenant is the sacrifices, other than that Jesus specifically told us ';follow my laws'; ';keep my commandments'; the only thing he said against the Jews and the only thing that angered him against the Jews was how in those times they found all these little loop holes to justify and find ways to go against God's laws and rules. examples..

do not commit adultry

but Jesus said if you have even thought of a woman and thought of her in a lustful way then you have already commited adultry with her...if anything Jesus made the laws more holy.

he came to show us that we are sinners, that God was unattainable and that you would have to be perfect to get to heaven on your own without a savior, and that those laws and rules made it hard to get to God, but he was the final sacrifice, and if we have faith that he truly came down from heaven as a human in flesh, died for our sins, and rose again then we could seek God and cling to him and be close to him, still follow his laws, still follow his commandments, but...God is no longer unattainable, we can go to him when we need to, and when we die and stand before him and state, I am a sinner and had faith on earth that you sent your son to die for my sins then you will stand before God as if you had never sinned.
no .. he will start up the rituals again in the newly built temple .. thats why they will acept him at first ..
Nope...
No.He'll let them do what they want until demanding all the world to worship him.And yes,the Old Covenant is null and void.I think you are confused because of pop-prophecy teaching the chosen people business. And the Left Behind movies. We are in the Last Days but Christianity does not revolve around non-believers.And the Truth[John 14:6] is not to be found by Hollywood or rich televangelists.
and he was a sabath breaker... tsk tsk...
No.Read Hebrews and you'll see a long explanation explaining the New Covenant. What you hear on TV is not in God's Word. Those preachers are sell-outs. http://www.rense.com/general67/znsm.htm
