How many Christians here believe that the False Messiah (Antichrist) will one day become the RULER of Israel ?

Yes, he will rule all the world, for a SEASON. Daniel tells us that the A.C. will sit in the temple as God and commit abominations. At that point the Jews will realize something is very wrong and the 'times of Jacobs troubles' will begin in earnest. How many Christians here believe that the False Messiah (Antichrist) will one day become the RULER of Israel ?
A little problem with your hypothesis there.

1. The anti-messiah will do many miracles to convince people that he is the true messiah.

2. The Jews have been trained, by God on Mt. Sinai, that miracles are NOT to be taken into consideration when deciding who is and who isn't the real Messiah. This is because even the Egyptians could do miracles like raising the dead, creating food, etc. Also, so did several Jewish sages in the Torah do these things, long before Jesus. These are not proof of Messiahship.

The ONLY proof that is acceptable is the fulfillment of each and every one of the actual prophecies during the person's lifetime who's claiming to be the messiah. Nothing else. No miracles, nothing else. Period. If he doesn't fulfill ALL of the prophecies DURING HIS LIFETIME then he is not the Messiah.

3. It is mainly because of the miracles that Jesus is said to have done, that Christians believe he is the Messiah. This is wrong, for reasons given above. Furthermore, Jesus did not fulfill ALL of the prophecies during his lifetime, and the concept of a ';second coming'; does not now and never has existed in Judaism - it's a church invention.

Therefore, it is the non-Jews who will be fooled by the anti-messiah, just as they were by Jesus, by the ';miracles'; both did and will do.

The Jews, on the other hand, who are trained NOT to look at miracles (for reasons given above), will not be fooled by any miracles, but will judge only according to whether he fulfills ALL of the prophecies during his lifetime.

So it is highly unlikely that the antimessiah will become the ruler of Israel. The ruler of the West, and other areas of the world, yes, but not Israel. How many Christians here believe that the False Messiah (Antichrist) will one day become the RULER of Israel ?
