In what ways is the biblical Messiah different from the false Messiah (anti-Christ)? In any ways similar?

Many Christians, Jews and Muslims are looking for a messiah to come and bring peace to the world. How is it possible that some will be deceived and mistake the 'psuedo'-Christ for the real one? Is bringing peace to Israel and her neighbors a mark of the true Christ or false Christ? (hint: Daniel 9:27) What should one know about each, so as not to be deceived?

Revelation 13:18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Revelation 11:7: ...the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.





Those who align themselves with the Antichrist and receive the mark of the beast will be spared his wrath, but will be damned in the eyes of God. Those who rebel against him by refusing to worship him or receive his mark will be killed.


Revelation 12:15: And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.


Revelation 12:17: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ





The Antichrist will gather the armies of the world in a futile effort to defeat Christ, but will be devastatingly defeated by the Lord. The Lord will not bring tanks or aircraft to the battlefield but will destroy the armies of the Antichrist by simply speaking them out of existence.!!

Jews are still waiting on the messiah, muslims are lost, and christians are waiting for the messiah to return. Christians will be raptured prior to the coming of the antichrist. So i don t concern myself with recognizing him. If you want to be familiar with him read Revelation 12-13

Antichrist is a false Christ, according to Matthew 24:24. He claims to be anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and claims to be qualified to do the work in God's name of redeeming God's people and renewing the creation. But he is not. He is a liar. His claims are false. He is a false Christ.
Antichrist will not be born of the womb or possess a human body. Satan is Antichrist and will be supernatural and able to perform miracles to deceive the whole world. “Anti” in the Greek means “instead of” or instead of Christ.

I only have a small knowledge of my readings on this but I found that the false messiah will walk on the earth whereas the true messiah will not actually walk. Also depending on the religion different things will happen. I think it is the Muslims that say when the real messiah comes for them, he will put a mark on the foreheads of all who are believers and black out the face of non believers. Also he will promise to cure disease and famine and then deliver upon his promise where the real messiah will just do it. Israel will be united and made peacefull but not until the false messiah comes, he will be destroyed by the 6 headed beast I think it is and then Israel will gain peace. 1st and 2nd John speaks of the antichrist. The best way to recognize the antichrist is to know Christ. If you know Christ and His Word, you can spot the antichrist in a second.
