Here's what the Lord Jesus said...
John 8:42 Jesus said to them, ';If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. 43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
...and here is what those who came after Him and did not accept Him wrote...

Here is what is written in Baraitha Bab. Sanhedrin 43a, probably second century:
On the eve of Passover Yeshu was hanged. For forty days before the execution took place, a herald went forth and cried, ';He is going forth to be stoned because he has practiced sorcery and enticed Israel to apostasy. Any one who can say anything in his favour, let him come forward and plead on his behalf.'; But since nothing was brought forward in his favour he was hanged on the eve of the Passover! - Ulla retorted: Do you suppose that he was one for whom a defence could be made? Was he not a _Mesith_ [enticer], concerning him Scripture says, _Neither shalt though spare, neither shalt thou conceal him?_ With Yeshu however it was different, for he was connected with the government for royalty [i.e., influential]. Our Rabbis taught: Yeshu had five disciples, Matthai, Nakai, Nezer, Buni, and Todah. What reasons are that Jesus was a false messiah?
There is one reason. Isaiah 53 is a famous prophecy about the suffering and death of Jesus. However, Jews interpret the prophecy as referring to Israel, the nation.
However there are numerous evidences of Jesus being predicted to come in the NT and being real rather than false.
The Old Testament has many prophecies of a Messiah who would be king in Israel. It tells of his birth, his ancestry, his life and his death, as well as his eternal reign as king. In this chapter, we look at the Old Testament prophecies that Jesus fulfilled before he went to heaven. The apostles used these prophecies to show that Jesus is the Messiah.
He would be born in Bethlehem as told in Micah 5:2. Fulfilled in Matthew chpt 2 verse 4-6
He would be born of a virgin. Isaiah 7:14. Fulfilled in Matthew chpt 1:18
He would live in Galilee. Isaiah 9:1–2. Fulfilled in Matthew chpt 4 12-16
He would be raised from the dead. Psalm 16:10 Read this and notice the capitals symbolising Great importance. “. . . Because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.”
Not only are there direct prophecies of Jesus, there are numerous “types” that point forward to Him. For example, at the feast of Passover, a lamb in perfect condition had to be killed as stated in Exodus12:3–6. I'm surprised apart from the Jews for Jesus the orthadox ones have not noticed this.
The reasons why Jesus in not the Messiah is quite simply that he did not fulfill any requirements for being the Messiah.
Martin S:
It is debatable whether the Talmud was talking at all about Jesus. And it is also irrelevant to the discussion. The asker wanted to know why in Judaism he is not considered the Messiah.

Ready Q Blue:
Micah does not imply that the Messiah is to be born in Bethlehem.
Isaiah does not imply that there would be a virgin birth.
answer: not a ';false'; messiah - a failed one.
Why? He didn't fulfill the 23 prophecies. No, there are not 300-600 prophecies. And the story built around him proved that he wasn't the Jewish Messiah.
Reasons Jesus wasn’t the Jewish Messiah: divine birth/divinity - strike (the Jewish Messiah will be human)
performing miracles - strike (JM won't perform miracles)
taking on the sins of others - strike (no one can take on the sins of others)
breaking Sabbath - strike (JM will be observant)
sacrificed/rising from the dead - strike (G-d rejects human sacrifice)
prophecies unfilled - strike (JM will accomplish them in one life time)
being worshiped - strike and out - Jews worship G-d and only G-d

Jesus was a false messiah

(Some ppl argue with reason #2, saying that Mary was related to David.)
Edit:
Jewish site, about the topic.

There's no such thing as a Messiah. No proof, whether it's Jebus or the one you guys are supposed to be hanging out for.
This answer is for everyone, just like the questions should be.
Many Jews have found liberation in Yeshua HaMaschiach.
I think it's in the Talmud somewhere.
The whole idea of Jesus is FAKE.
Well, popular opinion prevailed and He was crucified.
His own family didn't understand His mission, thus accused Him of being possessed.
The religious leaders rejected Him, and accused his reformation ideas of sedition.
And although the Roman representative said ';I find no fault in Him';, He was thought worthy of execution.
However, God knew agnosticism would prevail at the end of the days and ';sealed and closed up'; one part of the Bible, just one! When you discover the ';hidden key'; to open those verses, they reveal Jesus is no impostor. In fact, it proves He is exactly who He said He is, The sacrificial Lamb of God.
It also identifies who the Abomination of Desolation is who Jesus is.
Every progressive thinking individual should break that code: http://abiblecode.com
The wise will understand but the wicked won't
Blessings, Ben Yeshua
Toughshit for you, He is not a ';false messiah';, the end times that He foretold are happening today right now in front of your face. I think its time the Jewish people own up to that.
